Bream
Latin-Abramis Brama
Bream live in lakes, ponds, canals, slow rivers and gravel pits throughout Britain and is a very common shoal fish.
The Bream has a deep narrow well-scaled and slimy body with the tail fin forked. The anal fin is long reaching from just past the belly.
Anglers catch Bream on most popular baits such as maggots, castors, worms and bread responding particularly well to ground baiting.
