The Mill Pool Cabin The Mill Pool is a newly established lake of about 1¼ acres. The complex is only available for match fishing and groups, although individual fishermen are welcome.

The Mill Pool is situated in a secluded, attractive and peaceful valley just outside the village of Painswick. The lake is surrounded by fields and is a haven for wildlife.


Fed by a natural stream which flows back to the river The Mill Pool ranges in depth between 6 feet and 8 feet with two small islands towards the middle.

The lake is well stocked with mainly Carp and Bream but there are also some Roach and Tench.
